I went up to the Yorkshire Dales and took these images around the limestone pavement avove Twisleton Scar End. It was raining for most of the day but I got about an hour between the showers. The first and last images are not quite mono conversions. I left the middle image in colour to keep the contrast between the brightly lit tree and the stormy sky behind – the light lasted for a few minutes before the clouds came back.
