First outing of 2017. Here's an image from Great Yarmouth on a rather cold and misty January afternoon. These two constructions are in the sea just off the south beach, down toward the new harbour. This afternoon they were providing a place for cormorants to dry their wings—I am not sure exactly what their purpose is, but some web sites have said they mark an outfall from the nearby power station, or perhaps one of the older power stations on that site.
