I spent six nights in Skye just before Christmas. There was a lovely mix of weather – snow on the hils some mornings, nice golden light at sunset one day, and plenty of opportunities to practice photography in the rain! Most of these are quite well known locations. One that perhaps is not is the view of the Black Cuillins over Lochan Dubha (around 5 miles south from Sligachan). As with most of the other images, that one was taken with me standing in the water up to the top of my wellies, hoping that the water didn't flood in and spoil the walk home. There are some larger versions on my Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/timitim/.
