More to follow, but here are a few images from up in the Lakes around Christmas 2015, just after the flooding earlier in December. I have never seen Derwentwater so high. The first three are all from Ashness Jetty (on the Keswick-Borrowdale road, at the foot of the turning for the youth hostel), showing the water level rising during heavy rain on the 21st and 22nd. The other images are from the flooded boardwalks area at the south of the lake, then over on the coast at Seascale, and finally at Tewet tarn.
Prints of my image of Seascale boardwalk, the tree in Derwent water, and Ashness Jetty are available at https://art.tt/xs8. There are some larger versions of this and other images on my Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/timitim/.
